2019 Poster Competition

Winner :  Malgorzata Blaszczyk

Congratulations to our winner, Malgorzata, we love your work!

Malgorzata Blaszczyk was born in Poland and is a graphic designer and artist. She was interested in art from early age and has won many art competitions throughout her life. She graduated from the Leon Wyczolkowski State High School of Fine Art in Bydgoszcz and Nicolas Copernicus University department of Fine Arts in Torun. She has worked at the Gazeta Wyborcza newspapers in the composition and graphics department. Malgorzata has also volunteered as a graphic designer for the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity in Melbourne and helped with the Polish Film Festival graphics, 2018-2019. In addition, there was an exhibition of the artist’s work during Cultural Diversity Week, 16-24 March, 2019. She was the winner of the Williamstown Botanic Garden Art Competition in April 2019.

Meet the Jury

Annika Glac

We are honoured to have Annika as one of Polish Film Festival’s ambassadors. With her strong film industry affiliations, Annika has been an integral part of the festival since 2018. Annika is currently working on RADIANT, a feature film about Marie Curie.

Robbie Kolodziej

Robbie has been an unstoppable force in bringing the best of Polish cinema to Australia. He’s much appreciated by the volunteering staff here at the PFF, and a crucial organiser of all things impossible.

Ania Nowakowska

Ania has over 20 years experience in graphic design in the not-for-profit, corporate, research and government sectors. Her studio – redwagon design – was born in Melbourne in 2006, after an eight year career at a private marketing agency based in St Kilda Road, specialising in not-for-profits.

Daga Mikolaj

Daga has over 17 years experience in creative services, ranging from education, corporate, government and boutique sectors. She was the lead designer for the 2019 Polish Film Festival.


Dorota Sosnowska

Dorota has been part of the Polish Film Festival organising committee for a number of years, volunteering her time in areas of events organisation and funding. She is passionate about sharing her Polish heritage, especially the world acclaimed film industry, with the rest of Australia. Dorota is an accountant and a proud mum.
